We're excited to learn that you're interested in joining our growing community here at Boston Virtual ATC.  Applying is simple and straightforward. Please follow these instructions:

1. Read the New Pilot Center (it may be helpful to open this page in a separate window).  Complete and score an 80% or higher on the entrance exam found on the next page.  The answers to the exam questions are covered in the material found in the New Pilot CenterIt is strongly recommended that you download and read the "New Pilot Welcome Pack", which is linked to the top of that page.  That, combined with the information on the New Pilot Center page gives you all the information you need to pass the exam successfully.

Once you've obtained a passing score, a link will be generated where you can complete the registration form.

2. Complete your registration form and ensure all required fields are completed.  Take some time and give your responses some thought. All short-essay questions are carefully reviewed; if you are serious about becoming a member, do not provide one-sentence answers with improper spelling or grammar.  Most members who are not accepted do not spend enough time preparing their short-essay responses.

Please note that a working e-mail is required; without one, we won't be able to inform you of your application status. Several accounts are deleted every month because people have not provided correct e-mail addresses!

3. Once you have submitted your application, please be patient. Your application will be reviewed within 24-48 hours and you will receive an e-mail notifying you that your application has been approved or rejected. If you have not received this e-mail within 48 hours, please contact us.

4. Our server password is on the website.  Click "Server Info & Password" on the links menu once you've logged in.   Remember your username and password.  You'll need it to log into the website.

5. The BVA ID you choose and register with on our website must match exactly with the "GameSpyID" you use in FSX sessions on our BVATC server.

6. Our forums require a separate registration and login. Once your account has been approved and you have been added as a registered user of BVA, go to the "Forums" page of the website and register using your BVA ID. Forum registration is optional, but strongly recommended.

Once you are ready to proceed, please begin the application (exam) on the next page.  A grade of 80% or higher in the exam is required to join Boston Virtual ATC. Once you have successfully completed the exam, you may complete the application form.
